by There is a little creaking sometimes when its swinging, but I think its just from all the use. There is nothing broken on it.
It takes 4- D batteries.
It plays music/sounds and has a mobile that has lights in it. You can set it to do both or one or the other or just swing.
It has diffent swing speeds as well. You can also rock side to side or front to back.
Oh and the seat also has two settings. You can have them sit up more or layed back. We always keep it in the layed back setting since we used only when they were little babies.
